New layout Not that this place needed a new layout, since I loved the picture on the last one, but I was bored and decided to make one anyway. And since I liked it thought I would put it up ^_^. The html is pretty much the same as the last one, but I added loads of junk about me in the side-bar, because I was bored of filling it with random things which looked a mess. I got the idea from Yihlyn's blog (which, by the way, has a new SUPER cool layout which puts mine to shame! So you should all go and look at it! The link is on the navi bar <----) I debated keeping my shoutbox, as it looks neater without it, but it is so cool I don't want to say byebye to it! So it's staying ^_^ It's my blog it can be as messy as I want it! ... Speaking of which I need to sort it out a bit more since there just seems to be a mass of writing ... will make the cell padding more when I can be bothered to sit and mess about with it. For now it will do! Now I'm going to be super corny and dedicate this layout to Sarah cos of the super super sweet things she said to me in an email about my exam results ^_^ *BIG hug to Sarah* ... and the happy feel of this wallpaper reminds me of her ^_^ hehe ... Exam results okay, first things first; exam results. Let's put it this way... I didn't do anywhere near as well as I know I could have done, but given all the circumstances and everything that was going on around my revision and exam time, I know I couldn't have done any better. So although I'm not happy with my results, I'm not dissapointed either. I know I will be able to do a lot better next year - espcially since I won't be sleeping on someone else's floor the night before exams! And I did well enough to come back next year so - yay ^_^ Akay thats all I have time to say now, Love you all! -K- xxx

Harry Potter Okay bit of a Harry Potter rant coming up... the first bit will have no spoilers, but then (with a chear warning) I will go into proper opinions, which will contain lots of spoilers, but I will put a nice bit warning ^_^ Overall I really enjoyed the book, although I did notice that it had a very different, and much darker, feel to it than the previous ones. I did like this fact about it though, as it definalt carried on with the way the series is progressing. J.K. Rowling skipped the usual details of individual lessons and filler secions that she nornmally employs, which made the book move at a much faster pace and we got piled with lots of information straight after each other. I really liked this about the book, as although it meat that it was shorter than the previous two, we learned a lot of information that we wanted to, without having to flick through pages of filler! It is definaly my new fave Harry Potter book, even though I don't think I will be re-reading it a lot since it is kindda depressing! Okay... now for the spoiler bits... SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER Hehe ^_^ ... Okay thats enough warning so don't blame me if you read this bit by accident!!! Right, I noticed there was a lot of "love" in the book, which I'm guessing was there to counter how dark and scary the rest of the plot was! All the way through I was wanting Ron and Hermionie to get together though, but they didn't ... grrr so annoying! And the thing with Ron and Lavendar was kindda odd, although made sense as he was just insecure about the fact he had never kissed anyone, but she was annoying and I'm glad they split up eventually! Lets just hope him and Hermionie FINALLY get together in the next volume! They would be so sweet together ^_^. I did like Harry and Ginny together, although I had not seen that coming at all and kind of froze my reading for a bit when I got the the bit where he saw Dean and Ginny together - I had no idea that he liked Ginny! It was so sweet though ^_^... but the fact he ending it with her was really sad!!!!!!! One RANDOM couple though is Tonks and Lupin - where on earth did that come from!? ... so wierd and random. Oh and I don't like Fleur, so wasn't happy with her and Bill getting engaged. Wow so much love around ... ^_^ Okay, onto my opinions of the more serious bits! Snape been the half blood prince was ... odd. All the way through I was trying to figure out who it was, and I thought it might be him but due to the fact that Harry decided it wasn't his father because of the date in the book, I assumed it wasn't Snape. Oh well, it was a good person to have I think, as any new character wouldn't have worked. The biggest shock though was Snape killing Dumbledore! I knew someone was going to die, and I thought it might be him, but since there were so many places where he could have died but didn't, I thought that it was super super super sad when he did! Evil Snape... evil evil evil evil evil evil ... T_T and he was the one who turned in Harry's parents ... evillllll! Learning all about Voldemort's past was very interesting, although at some points I began to feel sorry for him and then had to force myself to remember he is EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL!!!!! ... I even felt sorry for Malfoy towards the end! It was so strange ... J.K Rowling is an amazing author to be able to make you think that about characters who she has put across as pure evil throughout the rest of the books! Amazing... Hmmm... what else shall I comment on... errr... I didn't like slug-whatsit, but he was a character that needed to be there due to the fact that he had the memory and whatever. Oh and I REALLY want to know who R.A.B is ... grrrrr... annoying!!!!!!!!!! Okay thats all, love you all ^_^ -k- xxx

Bored over summer... Well, since I haven't posted here for a while I figured I might as well. Haven't been up to much; work are been total idiots and not calling me back even though I have called them quite a few times. Grrrr I wanna work I'm so bored. I need to wait for the Ops Manager to call me, and she seems to be useless! I have never met her, since she started after I left for uni, so she might be okay but she certainly doesn't seem to know how to use a phone! So I have been trying as best I can to fill my time. Been sleeping until mid-day, then getting up and watching various TV shows - large amounts of Charmed, Buffy and Will&Grace have been keeping me entertained, but there is only so much TV a girl can take without going insane! So for the last few days Harry has been keeping me entertained - gotta love Harry! Well, since the new one is out of Saturday (hurrah!), and I remember very little about the last one, I figured re-reading it before I read the next one is a good plan! I had forgotten how much I loved Fred and George ^_^ They are awesome - it's a shame they have now left Hogwarts and subsequently will probably not feature as much in the next book. Although I have heard it is going to be smaller - that is a real shame, but the last one will most likely be HUGE. Which is exciting, but sad at the same time! I have also been going out, but not a huge amount since most of my friends are working full time, on holiday or live too far away for me to visit them often. But I have done a few things - me and Adele went to Cannon Hall (which is an open farm) where we both had goats trying to eat us, and saw lots of super cute animals, including a chicken that looked like an Indian but sounded like a guinea pig, and a chicken with an afro. Then we walked a mile up a hill in the rain in the middle of nowhere. Don't ask... hehe. Also went to see batman, which was VERY cool and defiantly worth seeing. Hmmm.. not done a huge amount more. Me, Holly and Kirst went to pizza hutt which was nice, went out for lunch with Emma and Holly (wow Emma's ring is pretty - her and Paul are perfect together.) ... also went for a night out with Adele and between us we managed to pull 7 men (and by 'pull' I mean had them come up and try to dance with/chat us up). And most were under 40!!!!!! ... such a shock! ... and one was even quite cute!! ... why did we say no?!... why ... WHY!?. Went swimming today with Kirstie, and yesterday we went shopping and I bought a photo album which is now full of all my favourite pictures of all my friends ^_^ … I love it so much and am currently decorating it to make it more personalised! Anyway, on a much more sombre note the London Terrorist attacks have really shaken me up and they are so scary. I don't know why people do things like that- surely attacking civilians isn't going to achieve anything other than a very large amount of hatred towards them!? And it just shows how evil some people are, and they just have no morals. The fact that some of those responsible were just young is really scary, and also the fact they didn’t come from very far from me is odd. My heart goes out to all those who got caught up in the events, and to their family and friends. I also hope they are able to identify the remaining bodies quickly, so their families can finally put them to rest and begin the mourning process properly. I'm grateful that none of my friend's or family were involved and, although the death toll is awful, I'm glad it wasn't any higher. On another sad note, which most people won't be affected by but I was and want to write about it here, my cat died the other day. He had been missing for 2 days, and we were worried as he had been in a really bad mood on Saturday night. On Monday night me and my mum went looking for him, and found him lying in the park across the road from us. When I got close to him he tried to run away, but only got about a foot before collapsing again. So we took him to the vets straight away, as he was really ill and to make it worse he had been out in the sun for 2 days (and it is really, REALLY hot up here) so he was very badly dehydrated. When we got to the vets, he examined him and said he had a blocked bladder which he seemed to have had for a while, which meant that his bloodstream will have been filled with toxins, and they didn’t know the extent of the damage. So they drained his bladder, so at least he wasn’t in any pain, and put him on drip to help with his dehydration. The plan was to assess the internal damage in the morning, but he didn’t make it through the night. They called us Tuesday morning and told us he hadn't made it through the night. It is so sad, as I loved him to bits and he was a lovely cat, and we have had him since I was about 10 so he had always been there in my most recent memories. So I'm feeling really sad about it, as he was a member of the family not just a pet. There isn't much more to say so I'm going now. Love you all. -K- xxx
