Yay good news ^_^
It's very strange; just a few days ago I felt like total crap and just wanted to give up and curl up in a corner. But now, I feel almost back to normal. I mean, I'm not how I was, but I'm almost there. I am not very ill anymore (the only thing I have is a throbbing headache but that is caused by this totally random heatwave and I always get them when I'm too hot) nor am I very down. My roomie is still been a total cow, but to be honest I really don't care anymore and I don't have to live with her for much longer so I think I can manage to cope! I've survived this long so another 5 weeks isn't the end of the world. Also, I'm not sad about Ryo anymore - although obviously I wish it could have worked out in a different way, I have finally come to terms with the fact that ending it was the best thing to do and so I am starting to move on with my life and I'm not going to look back and get down about that; I will look forward from now on. And I hope we can still be friends, but that is all up to him as I have made it clear that I want to remain friends but it's up to him to act on that. I'm really looking forward to this weekend; we are going to see Chicago and then I get to see my mummy on Saturday and Emma on Sunday ^_______________________^ ... yay! Hmm... will text Adele too and see if she is around, although I won't have a huge amount of free time. I will try to see her though ^_^ Anyways, Sailor Moon is calling me! Stars is so amazing ^_^
Passwords
I swear I don't have a brain; I don't know how I have managed to get this far in life T_T ... I decided that I needed to change my e-mail passwords and other ones I have (I do this quite often) and so chanced my yahoo mail one, then tried to log in but I had forgot what I had changed my password to! So I spent (literally) about 10-15 mins typing in things which I thought I may have set as my password, and after god knows how many attempts I managed to log in, but then forgot what it was I had typed! So I had to go through the whole process again while I tried to log in to the 'Change password' page ... T_T ... I have now chanced it back to what it was and will have to try and think of a new one that I won't forget.
You are love food, boys, shopping, and hanging out with your friends. You tend to cry when things get too hard, and have trouble doing things right the first time. You probably need to study a little harder. Your faith in the basic goodness of all people keeps you on the right track, even when others don't see it.
Thinking (O.o)
I've been thinking a lot lately, which is not normal for me since I generally just wander through life in a daydream and take whatever it throws at me. Although my life seems really bad at the moment, I need to keep trying to look in the bright side and am beginning to force myself to. I have the best mum anyone could ask for, who had always been there for me and tried her hardest to help me with everything even though she raised me and my brother on her own. I also have the best friend's in the world - In particular Holly, Jo, Yihlyn and Sarah, who have helped me so much these last few weeks and if it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't have been bale to cope. It's rather difficult at uni as I have so few female friends, and generally I don't feel comfortable talking to guys about my problems as I'm not used to it since the majority of my friends from home are female. Plus a lot of my problems are things guys wouldn't be able to help with anyway. Not that I'm saying my male friends haven't helped; they have, but in a different way. I tend to turn to my female friends for emotional support and male ones to cheer me up when I'm down. All that said though, I'm not doing a very good job of keeping myself happy. But things are beginning to look up, and life is slowely settling into a steady flow and I'm sure it will soon be back to how it used to be. I'm going home this weekend to be with my mummy, so that should cheer me up. On Saturday she is taking me dress shopping and is going to treat me to one for the summer ball ^________________^ Okay on another note I just came to a realisation. Although my roomie is a total cow there is one thing I can be thankful for ... she isn't Nush.
And thats all I am going to blabber about for now... I have been thinking about more things than I wrote here but I will talk about them another time as I want to watch Sailor Moon now!
[insert title here ^^]
Hmm... where shall I start? A lot has happened in these last few days - mostly bad, but some good. Things have now been sorted - not in the way I wanted them to be, but in the way they had to be. So I've been very shakey and down this weekend, but I'm better than I was. Kind of. When I'm on my own I'm even worse that I was last week, but when I'm with people, or even just talking to them on the phone then I'm okay. Anything to keep my mind off things. Last night was pretty tough. I had a good afternoon with Sarah, then me, her, Rob, Chris and Andrew watched Eurovision, which was really funny - although Israel should have won as their act was by far the best. But Greece won, who's song was VERY steryotypically eurovision, so we could see how they won. Anyway I then came back home, read for a bit then went to bed. Which it turns out was not good, as I suddenly became even more down and burst into tears and couldn't stop crying. The only way I knew I would feel any better would be if I phoned someone, and obviously Holly was the first person who came to my mind, but I presumed she may be with Adam, so didn't want to disturb anything. The same went with Jo and Ben. And since this was 2am it meant that the number of people who I could contact without them killing me was very limited. So I text a few people who I thought would be awake, and got a reply from Sadegh who rang me and managed to cheer me up a huge amount. It's surprising how him reading 'Jack and Jill' managed to make me laugh so much. Very bizzare. But yeah, he cheered me up loads and I was finally calm enough to go to sleep! When I got off the phone though I had a reply from Nick, who I think I have confused a lot now as i just replied saying 'Going to sleep now, sorry for random texts' then I went to sleep. This morning I'm coping I guess. I'm seeing Sarah later which will help, although we are revising which really won't. But it has to be done. Damn exams. *Sighs* anyway I think I'm going to go watch a few eps of Sailor Moon to cheer me up.
Your birth on the 2nd day of the month adds a degree of emotion, sensitivity, and intuition to your life. The 2 is a very social number allowing you to make friends easily and quickly. Yet you are apt to have a rather nervous air in the company of a large group.
You have a warmhearted nature and emotional understanding that constantly seeks affection. You are more prone than most to become depressed and moody, as emotions can turn inward and cause anxiety and mental turmoil. It can be hard for you to bounce back to reality when depression sets in.
New Layout (again)
I was getting annoyed with my old blog layout, as I didn't like the fact that everything was on different pages. So ... Voila. I give you my new blog layout. I found it on blogskins.com by accident, and was so impressed with it I decided to use it ^_^
Rant Well, since my life has taken another turn for the worse, I present you with the follwing;
Why roomates (well, mine) are evil (the possible first in a series of 'Why ... are evil') (note: I wrote this, then the net died and I lost it. So I have probably missed loads out, but I will add them later)
In general she;
... plays music really loud
... plays really bad music really loud
...sings along to the really bad really loud music in a really bad way
... screeches along to the really bad really loud music if she doesnt know the words to the really bad really loud music
... sings along to my music in a really bad way
... screeches along to my music if she doesnt know the words
... never turns her computer off (and i mean NEVER) but it's one of those really loud desktop ones
... has a screensaver which is really bright and illuminates half the room at night
... glares at me if i turn her computer moniter off
... has an answer phone on her landline, which rings periodically if she has a message. And often she is not in so I have to take her phone off the hook as it's SO annoying
... glares at me when I have done this
... has told a lot of her friends not to knock when they come into the room, so I have to keep the door locked as I have been sat here before when some random man has come in
... never tells her friends when she is going away, so they continuously call/come into the room to try and find her
... has a heater/fan thing which she has on a lot, but it sounds just like a really loud kettle
... sleeps in the middle of the afternoon
... then yells at me when I turn the light on as I have to work
... puts on DVDs, even though I have music playing already
... then turns the volume up REALLY loud, so that even if I have my headphones in I can't hear my own music
... glares at me when I ask her to turn it down a little bit
... wears a pair of flip-flops around the room, but she doesn't walk normally in them - she kind of shuffles - so the noise it 'shuffle ... clunk ... shuffle ... clunk' (clunk = the sound of the show hitting her foot). somehow she does this REALLY loud.
... glares at me whenever she sees me
... glares at Jo whenever she sees Jo
... has hair extensions, which somehow manage to get all over my towels in the bathroom
... always puts her things on my towel rack
... often she talks to people on speaker phone on her phone, which you wouldn't beleive how annoying that is!
... has moved her chest of drawes to a really annoying place, and I keep on nearly tripping over it
... has left some wierd manky dirty towel in the bathroom on the floor (well, I'm assuming it is hers as it certainly isn't mine)
... talks to me in a really rude way
At night she (and by this I'm meaning after about 11.30. All this is stuff when I'm in bed);
... comes in at stupid times in the morning
... and slams the door
... then throws her keys onto her desk
... turns on both a desk light, and a bedside lamp, so it lights up the whole room and as if the main light is on anyway
... which makes a really loud noise
... slams the bathroom door when she goes in
... often bangs cupboard doors/drawes. On purpose obviously.
... scrunshes up carrier bags (she did this last night for about 5 mins, in a way that was blatantly not putting anything in them, and was just to annoy me)
... phones people
... has people phone her
... often doesnt answer the phone when people ring her, so just leaves it until it cuts off
... plays with her mobile, which is not on silent
... deleates her messages one at a time, which makes a really annoying noise (I had a phone similar to hers so know what the noise is)
... sometimes has friends knocking on the door. And lets them in and talks to them
... types even louder on her computer than she does during the day. And I'm not making that up I swear she does it
... turns on her annoying heater/fan thing
In the morning she;
... spends 45 mins in the bathroom - and thats when she isn't having a shower
... goes in again as soon as she hears my alarm go off, and only gets out when I ask her to
... often clips her toenails at the end of my bed. Ew.
... uses some sort of cleaning lotion thing that smells REALLY bad. At first I though it was ... well ... since it was in the bathroom. But no, it's something she uses.
... always knocks my things over in the sink/shower, then doesn't pick them up. I know it's her though, as although I am a messy person, I hate untidy bathrooms and my stuff is always lined up nice.
... phones people even if I'm asleep
Some examples of specific events;
She once had her boyfriend around, and it got to about 11.30 and I wanted to go to bed, so I asked her politely if they could go and talk somewhere else, to which I got a bit of a glare and an 'In a min'... so I turned off the main light, and they had her desk light on, and I went to bed thinking that would be a MAJOR hint for them to go somewhere else. But no. They turned off her desk light, and then went silent with the odd giggles dispursed throughout the silence. Like ... ew. Major ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. Luckily it wasn't for too long and there weren't any noises other than giggles, so I don't think they did anything too bad. But still ew. Major Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew.
The other night she was on the phone to someone, and I really wanted to go to bed early, but since she was on the land line thought I would give her some time to see if she would get off before I had to ask her. Then it got to after 11, and I was exhausted and I had a 9.00am start in the morning, so I asked her politely if she could please go and talk somewhere else. So she glared at me and said 'I can't' and pointed to the fact she was on the landline (whic, btw, is internal calls, and since most of her friends are in our halls it is likely that she was talking to someone who lives here) anyway, I explained why, and she glared at me again then said really sourly to the person on the phone 'I have to go now. She wants to go to bed' (or something like that) ... then asked me again why I wanted to go to bed, so I told her again as I was getting REALLY annoyed. Then she eventually ended the convo, and said 'Bye, I'm still on MSN so we can still talk there' ... the cheek of it! she was on MSN to the person aswell as the phone, yet still complained!
She once had her little sister staying with her, but kept on leaving her in the room on her own, which made me feel really uncomfortable in general. What was worse was that I came into my room, to find some kid I didn't know in there, AND I had Ryo with me. So we just had to sit there feeling all wierd. It was so awkward.
Often we run out of toilet roll in the en-suite, as the cleaner only comes round every few weeks to replace it. At first we used to buy toilet roll (one of us bought it, then the next time the other etc) but then she suddenly seemed to decide she didn't like that, so she kept her own supply in her side of the room, and took it in when she needed it. How totally pathetic is that? And when her friend's came round she would give it to them too. I don't even know why she did it, it's not like she was always buying it, as we split it pretty evenly I think. So wierd. Even now she does it, yet I'm not stooping to that pathetic level so leave mine in there, which I'm sure she uses. Okay, so I only get it from the communal toilets, but thats sooooooooo irrelavent. (Okay ... this is getting gross... on to next point)
I once came into my room to find some guy on her computer, and her on mine. I wasn't very impressed, but didn't say anything as I had used hers before I got mine (although I will point out that I always asked her in advance). Then a bit later I was looking at my MSN message history, and found loads of convos which weren't mine, so I looked at them and they were hers. And I'm 90% sure they were from later than the time I found her on my comp, which means she has been using it again without my permission. Obviously this pissed me off, so I set up a password on it.
The other week, someone knocked on the door when we were getting ready for uni so she gathered all her stuff and went to answer it, assuming it was one of her friends. When she was it was Jo, she looked down her nose and said 'Oh it's you' in a REALLY rude way! I was sooo mad ... It's one thing that she is evil towards me, but towards my friends is totally rude!
Anyway that is enough of a rant for now. I'm going for pizza and films round sarah's! Yay!
Quickie ^^ Okay just a quick post before I go to bed! Yesterday a group of us went to the London Expo, but rather that write out a long descrition go to Yihlyn's blog where she wrote a really good and long description of the day ^_^
What she didn't write is (obviously) what me and Holly got up to when we lost them, so I will here; We walked around looking at all the stalls (I was on a hunt for Buffy merchindise as a pressie for Jo) and then listened to Amber Benson (Tara in Buffy) give a presentation -well we listened to part of it- and I took photos although they didn't come out very well. She seemed really sweet though ^_^... up ... thay was all really. A lot of running around!
Today (Sunday) was not bad, although I didn't do anything. I have just got Photoshop CS, so spent a large amount of the day playing with it and figuring out how it works! This was one of the first messes I made ^_^ The flowers in the background were from a pic Jo took, which I did fancy things to! I'm hoping to eventually be able to draw proper things on the computer like Yihlyn does T_T She is too talented! ... yes my pic IS a mess, but I'm proud of it ^_^
Also ate free BBQ in the garden, which Sarah and Rob came to which was fun! We just sat talking and not doing a huge amount ^_^
The life of the K-li Well, this last week or so has been very bizzare. My emotions have just been all over the place, but they seemed to have settled at the moment in the 'I'll just take life as it comes and try and ignore my confusing feelings' phase. Which I think is much better than the 'I'm going to curl up and cry in a corner' and the 'I hate everyone so am going to get really angry' phases... which weren't exactly fun. Although the bizzare 'hyper and deranged' was rather entertaining; until it was followed by the 'So down I don't even want to move so I'm going to sit here and not do anything' phase. Strange how life can be so confusing and emotions just go all over the place. It's not even like there are individual events to cause all the mood swings; it just all links back to this crummy waiting and not knowing what is going to happen (if you don't know what I'm talking about then please don't ask). I still haven't managed to sort out what I want, but I guess I still have time to figure it out. It's all a little on the confusing side and my brain doesn't like thinking too much. Especially since I just spent most of today doing coursework - I can reel off numberous equations if you want me to! No? Not surprised! I've also pretty much learned the structures of the molecules in the citric Acid cycle (due to the fact they are drawn out on my white board which is situated right next to my laptop) ... yes I have a whiteboard. It's really fun and very useful ^_^ And for £3.99 how could I leave it in the shop? Oh, to see photos of the dinosaurs go to Jo's Flickr account (which I will post the link to soon ... the Flickr site is down at the moment so I can't get to her's and I don't know what the address is off the top of my head!) Anyway, I have an exciting weekend ahead of me involving Holly coming to London, girly film night with Holly and Yihlyn on Friday night, then London Expo on Saturday! It should be good fun! I really should go to sleep now ... hmm ... maybe soon ^_^ hehe!
Love ya's all!
-k- xxx
p.s. I've just realised my posts are making me sound crazy... I'm not - honest - I'm just going through a lot at the moment!
Sakura Kinomoto, the Clow Mistress. You have a pretty sunny disposition overall. You try to be cheeful and look on the bright side of things, but you are easily discouraged. While brought down to tears often, you always regain your courage and determination when it counts. You try to see the good in everything and everyone, no matter what or who they are. You also tend to get flustered and anxious, even klutzy in the presence of someone you really like. Many people are important to you and fight to protect all of them as well as you can. You may often feel you can't stand up to challenges because of your lack of courage, your inexperience, your unwillingness to hurt anything, and because you're so easily frightened. But never forget your invincible spell: Zettai daijoubu dai yo. Everything will always be alright.
Cheese Question: what is your opinion of cheese? ************* Answers:
Holly: "cheese is one of the basic vital food groups, and it sooooooo yummy"
Yihlyn:"cheese.. its.. uumm.. yummy ^_^ only if its edam, gloucester or cheddar"
Jojo: "its cheesey"
Jojo's mate: "its evil. the devils man fat"
Sarah: "umm what? As in do I like it? cheese is good, as long as it isn't smelly. ie cheddar and strong is good the rest is fairly mank....except soft cheese like philadelphia"
Jo: What about it? It can be ok, but I'm not that keen on it. I like cream cheese!
Liyang: I generally like most soft or mild cheeses.<_<>_>

[Will be updated as soon as people reply to me ^_^... although a lot seem to be ignoring me ... ¬_¬ so rude! Pah!]
Shoe Insoles Yes this is a post about shoe insoles.
Because of the fact I have really narrow feet, I usually have to wear shoes with laces. But my velcro shoes (which are the ones I wear ALL the time) were sooo nice I couldn't leave them alone, so in order to wear them I have to have insoles inside them. Anyways, I have used leater ones until now, as the people in the shops all told me they were the best type and last longer and blah blah blah. Anyways... I decided I wanted to try foam ones, and they are actually SO much nicer! They are SUPER comfy and smell really nice (yes they small nice, got a problem with that?!) and make the shoes fit even better than the leather ones did ^_^
So I'm impressed and thought I would write a post here advising against leather insoles, and saying yay to foam ones ^_^ Plus foam ones are less than half the price ^_^ Hurrah!
"Ford, I think I'm a sofa" Okay, just thought I would put this post up in response to my last one...
I'm better than I was, so please don't worry.
Anyway, I had a nice weekend away at Jo's and we went shopping on Saturday, and to the cinema today to see Hitchhikers (which was good, but not as good as the book) and I will write a review of later.
Oh see my Flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/moonlight-destiny/ for random photos that I have uploaded. From now on anything I have picture-wise will most likely be put here, but I shall update my blog too when I do so people don't have to check both ^_^
Crap I feel totally crap today, so am going to rant about it here. Life is a big pile of pointless rubbish and I don't even know why we bother to try our hardest when everything is just going to be thrown back in your face and you will find out that the majority of the last few months of your life have been some bloody lie in which what you thought was true really wasn't and you were probably just been dragged on for no reason. And you have no idea what is going to happen in the damn future and to be honest you really don't care anymore. Aside from been down I am really ill and I have a headache and feel really sick and have a really bad stomach ache and just want to curl up in a ball and sleep but I know that if I do that then I won't sleep tonight and that will make it a lot worse. And I know I shouldn't be on my computer now but I really don't care. It makes no difference to me if I get even iller because of this as I already feel crap about everything else so physically I might as well feel as crap as I do mentally. I am down and stressed and ill and all of them mixed is really not a good thing. And each are making the other worse.
Oh a happier note, Jo took me out for a nice lunch today. Which was really nice and we had a super yummy HUGE dessert. She is the only person at the moment who seems to understand where I am coming from. She is at choir at the moment though so I'm trying to find something to do until she gets back.
I'm going to go curl up on my bed and cry now. Either that or do some work. Probably both.
Room (well... desk) Nooo I'm not procastinating here *cough*
But YES it IS tidier... just doesn't look it from these photos .. but look at the lack of clutter now! And the fact that my notes are now actually on a shelf not in a pile!
Long Weekend (and long post to go with it ^^;;) Summer is finally here ^_^ Hurrah! ... well ... as much summer as we get in England ^^;;
Anyways I have had a really good few days ... due to the fact there was a bank holiday on Monday we ended up having a nice long weekend;
Mank Clothes and Hyde Park After lab on Friday, me and Sarah went shopping and just spent most of the time laughing at the absoloutely HIDEOUS clothes they are selling these days. I mean, who in their right mind would wear a pink skirt that was made of enough material to dress an entire army? and pink polka dots? and whats with the victorian undergarments (as Sarah calls them) and the snot coloured clothes? Argh the hideousness of it all ... and it got worse the further we went into the shops ... for a laugh go to H&M or TopShop. H&M had an interesiting hoodie/cardigan/bat wings/seat/jumper thing ... we aren't actually sure what it was. But it was wierd. And worth laughing at. A lot. I don't know what it is with fashion these days though; some of it is really nice, but some is plainly ... yuck! And some of the clothes are just stupidly thin and see-through you would only wear them if you don't mind having your bra on display, which is not a good thing thank you very much. Underwear should not be seen through clothes. Clothes are there to cover them up. Damn tart clothes. Anyway ... yeah. Whats with the clothes that look like they have been attacked by some sort of wild animal? They are just as stupid. Pah. Okay so yeah, after that me and Sarah went to Hyde park and sat in the sun for a while, which was super fun and it was super nice and pretty ^_^ Then that evening we went out for food with Rob; we went to this cafe-type-thing on G.Road which I had never actually seen before, and had these really nice (although slightly odd) pizza things. Then we went to Starbucks for Hot Chocolate, although Rob had warm milk. Bless him. Um ... then we went back to Rob's room and watched Mean Girls, which is so cool and the more I see it the more I like it! (I have seen it 3 times now with various people). It's funny ^_^
Quotes of the day: "Ew ... no" "There is a complete stranger sat on my borrowed mattress and using my dildo" Tidying my Room, Swimming and Lottie! On Saturday I didn't do a huge amount apart from tidy my room and go swimming, so it was kind of un-productive. Although my room is now all shiney and clean! I will put a photo up to prove it to you all (since it is NEVER tidy) ... um ... then I went swimming. That was all really, but in the evening I had a nice surprise when Lottie (a friend from home) appeared ^_^ I thought she was coming to London to visit Saggi, but I saw him on Saturday morning and he said she had cancelled last min and couldn't make it. Then that evening he rang and asked me if he could come round and talk, and I thought it might be serious, but when I opened the door Lottie jumped out ^_^ It was so cool and exciting! I like nice surprises like that ^_^ ... I don't like nasty surprises. They are mean. Grr.
Quote of the day: "Lush Monkeyyyyy!"
Picnic, the Lion King, horney 17 year olds and Grace film. On Sunday me, Sarah and Rob planned on going to Hyde park for a picnic, but as we set off it started raining (typical bloody weather) so we had to go back to Fisher Hall. And we had a Picnic in Rob's room. Which was odd. But then we watched the Lion King! Hurrah! I love that film; its sooo cool but sooo sad! Me and Sarah were both nearly crying when his dad died and Rob was sat laughing at us! Although the new song they added it ... well ... hm ... ^^;; lets just say it wasn't needed. Anyways ... then we were bored so we went on a random chat room, and there was this really scary REALLY horney 17 year old, who wanted to come to London and ... well ... lets not go any further into that. We were totally winding him up and taking the piss out of him, but we think he was actually serious! It was sooooo funny! Especially some of the comments Rob was coming out with ... ^_^ Soooo funny! ... Not surprisingly though we left him alone after not long as he was pretty damn scary! I don't know why people would seriously go on the net looking for people to sleep with! It's so ... wierd ... and desparate ... and scary! .. Eww. Righto ... moving on quickly ... so then we went to the cinema to see 'The wedding date' starring the woman who plays Grace in 'Will&Grace', and it was SUCH a good film! I thought it was going to be some corny tacky annoying cheesy film, but it was actually pretty dman good! May have to buy me it when it comes out on DVD ^_^ Then me and Sarah came back to mine (Rob had vanished somewhere) and we watched Chums on DVD ^_^ (yes Ant and Dec) ... and it was soooo funny and all the people in it were people who arent famous anymore as it is sooo old (like the Vengaboys) although there were some classic acts like 5ive ^_^
Quotes of the day: "oh god... I think i've just come" "I'm easy" "You lying pineapple" "BriiiaaAAAAAAAaaaaannnnnn!!!!"
Work and BBQ On Monday I didn't do a huge deal. Did some work. Drew a pretty graph. Sat in the sun. Had free BBQ. Made Rob and Sarah Daisy chains. Startes reading 'The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.' Watched some Buffy. That is all.
Hmm ... SOCKS ^_^ You're a Cute Catboy!!! You aren't the smartest of the litter, but your uber kawaii-ness makes up for it. While you can be kinda clueless and confused at times, everyone still loves ya. ^_^
