Miamicon ^_^ Ok finally it's time for the long-overdue minamicon post ^_^ Hurrah!!! Well ... ok ... um I'm not too sure how to structure this ... so I think I will put it in random headings ^_^ Getting there Well that was all abit hectic! First Kishore didn't get up until 9.10 (and we were meant to be at Victoria tube station at 9.30) so I paniked a little ... but it was aaaaaaalllllllllllll good and we ended up getting on the coach on time (ie me, Antony, Sadegh, Johan and Kishore) ... all except Mitul, who only managed to get onto it after Sadegh sweet talked the driver into stopping while Mitul was running after the coach ^^;; Then we were on our way ... and although it was a pretty long journey we finally got there! Hurrah!!! Registration and Random Food We went to out hotel, dumped out stuff and then went to register ^_^ Hurrah!!! We all got cool badges with our names on ... yay!!!! and Random free stuff!!!! Then we got hungry so walked around aimlessly ... and found a random pub to eat in! I had fish and chips ^_^ mmmm ... yummy! hehe. Then we mingled with people and met some really nice people which was so cool ^_^ Holly ^_______^ Yupyup then Holly arrived!!! Hurrah!!! I had to go and collect her from the train station, but since I didnt know where it was I made Sadegh take me ... and he had never met Holly before so was pretty scared by it all as we were so hyper and ... yeah us!!! Hehe then we went to meet the rest of the guys after she had registered and dumped her stuff, and it was so much fun ^_^ Hehe and we scared them all as we were wearing matching tart tops ans were soooooooo hyper!!!! In particular we scared all of Antony's friends from ... err ... Bourmouth I think it was ^_^ hehe!!! Then we ran into Otaku Chris (a guy we know who works for otaku.co.uk) and met some of his random mates including Skanky man (who was a guy who hadnt paid to come to the con and was just been skanky), Sonar Ping (who was random and we managed to traumatise ALOT), hat man (who was ... well ... a man in a hat!) and LAC dude (who was one of the guys who runs the LAC!) ... omg and some random man filmed us for a "documentary" ... pervert ¬_¬ ... so we just scared them alot ^_^ hehe! Anime Concert Party/Disco ^_^ That night there was the anime party and disco! Hurrah! That was so much fun ... we got free food, then watched some random people preforming (there were a few girls singing who were really good ... but unfortunatly this annoying man and girl dancing which went on for AGES and was soooo annoying T_T ... They put alot of effort in and a respect that but It was sooooooo long!) Anyways then it was the disco and we all just danced like such idiots!!!! The music was ... odd. Some of it was totally scary rubbish, but some was amazingly super tacky anime-ness ^_^ Yay! Particularly cool were the Goo theme song (where we all ended up doing a conga line) and the Utena, Excel Saga and Sailor moon theme songs(where we just sang really loud and danced like idiots even more! ^_^) Surprisingly all the Imperial College lot got up to dance, which I wasnt expecting ^_^ Hehe it was so fun! Although I think Antony might have beaten me and Holly to the award for 'most pilocky dance' ^^;; But it was so much fun! Barry!!!!! Ok so this section wont make sense to anyone apart from me and Holly, but we met Barry ^_^ and chased him around the foyer ^_^ hehe so much fun!!!!!!! Yay it was a right gay family reunion! Lesbians Oh yeah me and Holly managed to convince half the con we were lesbians ... just cos we were tied together and kept talking about sleeping with each other ¬_¬ Pish!!! Bed time ^_~ I slept with Holly, and thats all you need to know ^_- Um ... yep thats Friday done ^_^ Will write about Saturday and Sunday when I get time ^_^ Most likely over the weekend!!!
